Devise five ways to make my life calm.
Observe what causes you stress and anxiety. Visualize ways of overcoming or preventing your stress reactions. Either remove the stressors from your life or learn to change your responses. Often our attitudes and thoughts cause us stress. Make sure your solutions to stressful situations are realistic, achievable and uplifting.

Peace is the foundation of happiness and fulfillment. Peace is your natural state. You are a clam and creative being.

Today's Thought.
Balance: The indication of balance in life is a sense of well-being, optimism and a clear conscience. The foundation for achieving this is to look after myself spiritually - making my mind peaceful, loving and thoughtful. Then I will instinctively know how much time to spend on my own well-being and how much on fulfilling other responsibilities. I can only give my best to others when I am myself at my best.

Determination and Patience: Determination is the strength that will enable you to pass the barrier of useless thoughts in order to create positive thoughts and to be successful in whatever you wish. It comes from within and its partner is patience. Patience teaches you not to push but rather to wait and appreciate the game of life instead, knowing that nothing remains the same, and everything will change at some point.

Appreciation: Even if I don't mean to be critical, I often unconsciously home in on others' weaknesses and mistakes. The more I develop the habit of noticing goodness and only holding onto the good in others and in situations, the more my own sense of well-being will rise. When I continually think, "He/she is wrong", I create a barrier that prevents me from reaching my own goodness.

Keep a calm perspective.
Allow five to ten minutes for this creative visualization. Imagine your body is a cloud ---- insubstantial, misty, ethereal. Sense the lightness of your being. Let your cloud-self rise and float through the roof, beyond the treetops and up into limitless sky. Look down on your building, your street, your town. As you float higher, look down at the Earth. You see our planet, with its billions of inhabitants, each a precious member of your world family. Stay there for a few moments, enjoying the feeling of weightlessness. You are one small part of a huge interconnected community. Slowly and gently float to Earth and return to your body.

Coolness: Maintaining a state of inner calm protects me from becoming a slave to my emotions. It also helps me to keep a cool head when I see others becoming heated or angry. Coolness is not to be distant or uncaring; rather it requires that I develop the deeply caring nature of a peacemaker and serve others in the best possible way.

Self improvement Thought.
Feeling of Happiness: If I do everything with a feeling of happiness, there will be no task too difficult to perform.

Refresh my soul with two minutes of silence or meditation.
Stop everything mid-morning and take two minutes to savor deep peace. Take the phone off the hook, close your eyes and retreat from the world to the still, silent centre of your mind.

Keep your life in perspective by remembering who you are and what is important to you. Bring your inner peace to the world through your activities and interactions.

Illumination:
The soul - that is the true self - is not originally sinful, it is originally good. To be on the spiritual path means we will experience this goodness. When this precious energy is experienced, there is a leap of consciousness. In history this leap has been known as illumination. Illumination is the leap to new insight that gives confidence and hope. Then there is more reality in life and, consequently, more happiness. We are renewed.

Divine Help:
Many times people report the feeling of divine help and strength when they come close to breaking point. Actually divine help is always there, but I am usually so busy doing things in my own little way that I only look for it when I face absolute defeat. The tranquil nature of enlightened souls comes from their ability to take God's help constantly. A state of true surrender will lead to the feeling of victory in everything I do.

Value people whose nature is the opposite of mine.
Reverse the tendency to belittle or criticize those whose nature is the opposite of yours. To overcome your frustration with them, acknowledge how they complement your shortcomings, if your talent is to see the big picture, who pays attention to the small details? Dynamism is balanced by gentleness, frankness by subtlety.

Diversity is nature’s survival mechanism. Imagine if the whole world was exactly like you. The contrasts and differences between us give rise to creation and invention. Embrace the differences in others and increase your capacity for love and acceptance.

Today's Thought.
Depths of Silence: Practice going into the depths of silence. Make it your hobby and see how much you enjoy it. Any tiredness of the soul will then be removed. We will feel that we are able to remain carefree and restful. When the soul is tired it is restless and there is a lot of worry; we think I have to do this and that. All I really have to do is to remain peaceful and there will be the feeling that everything will be OK.

Amazed: You will be amazed what comes from your heart when you make a little effort with your head

Self-respect: Self-respect is not only a matter of what you are doing in your life, but also of how you are doing it. It requires that you bring goodness and virtue into each thought, feeling, word and action.

Make a list of someone else's best qualities and virtues.
Imagine you've been asked to speak at a special occasion in celebration of someone else's life. Invite others to help you compile the list. Write their virtues out beautifully to make an uplifting gift.

Instill in yourself the habit of seeing the best in everyone. Focus on the positive and help others to be the best they can.

Personal Audit: At the end of each day, carry out a personal audit: work out what you did well and think about what you could have done differently.

Grateful: If I am grateful for the good I already have, I attract more good into my life. But, if I am ungrateful, then I tend to shut myself off from some of the good that might otherwise come my way.

Self improvement Thought.
Forgiveness: Why is it hard to forgive others? Usually because we believe that they are 90% to blame for the problem, that I am not as bad as they are. So I start to carry the load of other people's actions. I may have a sense of correction, of injustice: 'I know I am right', 'That is not fair'. But if I start to forgive from the heart, sincerely, then this kind of feeling and attitude begins to dissolve. If I remain humble, this forgiveness will bring me closer to others. Then I do not carry regrets or anger, I just let go and remain light.

Accept that people are inconsistent.
Why write someone off because they have done something mean-spirited or made a mistake? Embrace all the shades of their personality and behavior. You have inconsistencies too. Be kind and generous with your judgments.

Build relationships that endure. Let go of resentments. Be at peace with yourself and the world, and learn to love unconditionally.

Empower someone through words of encouragement.
Boost someone’s confidence through positive feedback--- motivate, inspire, give courage, remove doubts, reassure them of their capacity to succeed. Praise them for their efforts. Play the role of mentor.

Encouragement is an easy form of giving. Rather than doing a task for someone, encourage them to do it for themselves.

From time to time there will be circumstances that are beyond your control. It’s important to recognize and accept this fact and stay calm. Sometimes all you can do is just hang in there. Everything changes in its own time.

Break the cycle of self-criticism. Curb your desire for perfection, and be reasonable about what you expect of yourself. Become compassionate and understanding of yourself and others.

When love walks into your life, it is like a laser beam passing across your being. The light restores beauty and value, even if what is visible at first glance is less than beautiful. Meditation is an invitation to light. Meditation is not complicated. It simply is a means of teaching your mind to think in a different way.

The power of silence can bring peace to any situation. The instruments for the power of silence are pure thoughts and pure feelings. We can give others an experience with the power of our silence. When we understand and experience the power of silence we will become more powerful. We will then be able to experience peace that will naturally spread to others too. When we have to correct someone in any situation we first need to remind ourselves that words will not work but silence based on pure feelings and love will surely work. When we accept the person as he is with love we will be able to bring about a change in him. The lesser we talk the more the peace that is created.

If you know a little of yourself, you will have realized that you are more than meets your eyes in the mirror in the morning. What you see is not what you are. You see the form not the content, the body not the soul, the matter not the mind. In quiet and profound moments, we innately know that is true. But we forget. The world tells us and wants us to believe that we are what we see - and we take the easy way out. We believe. That's why the awakening of spirit and the flowering of our spirituality (nothing to do with religion) means we have to keep reminding ourselves, a hundred times a day, I am a soul - not a body, I am an eternal spirit - not a perishable piece of meat. I am quality, not quantity. I am. Otherwise, freedom is not possible. And if we are not free, in the deepest space inside our own being, we cannot be truly happy.

Honor your innermost thoughts and feelings and bring them forth into your full awareness. Ask yourself if you are being the most loving person you can be. Is this really what you think and feel, or have you adopted the habits of your family or friends? Dare to be you. Learn to be less critical and judgmental, and become more loving and kind.

This is the greatest alchemy! Each of us learns about life at our own pace, though our own experiences. Instead of condemning another’s choices put yourself in their shoes. They have good reasons for their choices and the lessons they need to learn are not yours.

Live Now:
The past is history, so let it go. The future is a mystery, so let it come. The present is this moment now - a gift. To be truly in the present today, it is useful to release all our fears (based on the past) and our worries (imagined futures) - this is the work of someone who truly wants to break free from the stuff of past yesterdays and speculative tomorrows. It begins simply - with awareness. See the fears, see the worries, look at them in the face, watch them come and go. Treat them like children on their way out to play. Let them go. There is only now - even if we are in planning mode, stay in the present and plan tomorrow, it's when we drift into tomorrow with our imagination that we experience loss of this present moment.

Ego:
Ego is not just having a big head. Ego is present every time you feel any kind of fear, or hear yourself saying, "That's mine!". The truth tells us that nothing is 'mine' or 'yours', we are all trustees. So where there is ego, there is attachment, and where there is attachment there is fear, and where there is fear there cannot be love. Detach from everything, and you will banish ego, fear will be no more, only then can true love return, and our oldest friend happiness will feel it is then safe to make a re-appearance in your life.

The Energy Returns:
If you speak badly of others, the negative energy that you put out into the universe, will return to you. The same is true of positive energy.

We all seek harmony. Communicate your feelings. Before you speak, choose the right environment, and rehearse what you want to say. Be open and honest. Work out how far you are prepared to go in the interests of good relations, then go a step further. Be generous and good-hearted.


A small skirmish can escalate into a major battle. Address misunderstandings immediately to conserve energy, prevent conflict and enhance your relationships.

True Happiness: There is no nourishment like happiness - it's an elixir. There is no sickness like sorrow - it's a poison. The experience of true happiness cures the sickness of sorrow. A cheerful face goes a long way towards making everything better!

Give something away.
Pass on an item you no longer use or give away an object you value highly. Creating an empty space invites the new. You do not truly own anything, so practice being a trustee of your possessions. Be generous and have faith that you will receive what you need.

If I listen to and accept defamation of anyone, I lose some of my own value, especially if I then start to interact with others on the basis of what I have heard. It is better to be selective in what we choose to listen to. Let me focus only on what is special about everyone.

Positive Attitude:
Your attitude creates an atmosphere that reflects what you are thinking and feeling. It reaches out and touches others around you. Create a positive attitude, filled with good thoughts and feelings, and even just your presence will work wonders in many situations.

Look at photos from your childhood. Share your feelings and anecdotes of childhood with a friend. Ask your parents, grandparents or siblings what they remember about you.

Who you were as a child is very important. Your childhood dreams and wishes come from the very core of you. The growing up process can separate you from your essential nature. Reconnect with who you were when you came into the world.

Today's Thought.
No Problem: Solutions are never necessary because there are no problems, only our perception makes it seem so, and only our minds make our perceptions seem real. If there is a problem it is our perception. That is hard to see in a world that celebrates and rewards the finding and solving of ‘the problem’. When you decide that you will no longer perceive the problem, you will see only the facts or a situation. Facts are just facts and any and every situation can always be improved, unless it is in the past, then it’s just a memory, and memories are never a problem, are they? If you can cancel from the patterns of your perceptions, the very idea of ‘problem’ then you will not only be a positive thinker and a positive proactive actor, you will be a leader.

Desires: Reduce your desires and your problems will also reduce.

Self improvement Thought.
Time: Spend so much time improving yourself that you have no time left to criticize others!

Great Wealth : Even with a small bank account, the one who is contented finds himself with great wealth..

Send healing thoughts to trouble spots around the world.
Remain positive and caring , Detach yourself from the sadness surrounding events in the news. Be grateful that you are safe, and use your heart and mind to serve others. Imagine yourself as an angel caring for traumatized souls with your loving and silent presence.

Lightness: Move through life with lightness, touching the hearts of others without leaving a mark.

Cultivate Silence:
Behind all creation is silence. Silence is the essential condition, the vital ingredient for all creation and all that is created. It is a power in its own right. The artist starts with a blank canvas - silence. The composer places it between and behind the notes. The very ground of your being, out of which come all your thoughts is silence. The way to silence is through meditation. When you arrive in your own silence you will know true freedom and real power. Stop, take a minute, and listen to the silence within you today.

Focus On The Good:
Find at least one good quality in everyone, no matter how many defects are visible to you. The more you focus on the good, the more power you give to people, the sooner they will be able to change.


Bring your inner world to light.

Write continuously for three pages. Simply start writing and allow your thoughts and feelings to surface. Continue writing without worrying about grammar, or trying to edit your words. Don’t plan what you’ll write, or pause to read over the pages until you’ve finished the third page.
Make time for reflection. Each day brings new experiences and the way you respond to those experiences creates your attitudes, habits and personality. Stay in control of your life through regular reflection and self-inquiry.

Silence has to be love-filled. Love actually inspires and moves all things towards their original freedom and happiness.

Love:
Love blinds us to people's faults but hate blinds us to their virtues.

Staying Peaceful:
Desires cause peace to disappear. You think that acquiring things will make you feel secure, but the reality is that the more you have the more fear there usually is of losing it, and the further you are from peace. Desires are the cause of all conflicts. When you want something and cannot get it you become frustrated. Learning to be free from desires is learning how to stay peaceful.


Remember what you was like as child and compare yourself now.

Today's Thought.
Honest Heart:
An honest heart is an open heart. If we are dishonest in any way with ourselves or with others, it means we are in hiding. There is a wall, a barrier behind which we conceal something of ourselves. Subtle tension will be our companion, and while most of us learn to live with it, it drains our energy and tightens our muscles. On the other hand don't be too honest with others - feel their pulse - sometimes others are not ready to hear what's in your heart. But know that when you are honest you will experience a level of inner relaxation that you had forgotten was even possible.

Compassion:
A compassionate person develops an eye for spotting the qualities that make each person special. Even when others are at their lowest ebb, it is possible to help them restore their self-belief by keeping a firm, clear vision of their goodness and specialties. Taking a gently encouraging approach, I must never give up on anyone.

Faith :
When I am continuously being battered by the storms of life, and my very spirit is ebbing away, then all I need to do is hang onto that gift called 'Faith', that one support which will weather the storms. Faith does not depend on a clever head, only belief: belief in the self and the strength that lies within. Faith is the seed of victory and the foundation of making the impossible possible.


Ask for help.
Perhaps you expect too much from yourself. Or feel uncomfortable asking for assistance? Even if the person you ask can’t help you, help will come. Life is supportive, though not always in the way we expect.

Today's Thought.
Getting on with it :
Worrying about how everything will get done or whether I am capable of doing it limits my ability to respond to challenges considerably. The less I think about doing something and the faster I just get on with it, the fewer problems I cause myself. Good planning is always helpful, but time spent fretting and procrastinating is a major drain on my energy. The more willing I am to respond positively to opportunities, the more my capacity will grow.

An Angel's Face: An angel's face is still because there are no lies inside. Truth makes it a straight, simple face whose beauty lies not in its form but in the feeling it gives you.

Tolerance: You have the power to tolerate anyone and any situation. But tolerance is not just suffering in silence. It means going beyond any personal discomfort you may feel, and giving a gift to whom ever you would tolerate. Give your time, attention, understanding, compassion, care - all are gifts, which paradoxically, you also receive in the process of giving. And, as you do, you will experience your own self esteem and inner strength grow. In this way you can turn tolerance into strength.

Allow five to ten minutes for this creative meditation. Imagine you are swimming in an ocean, being tossed by the waves. Create the experience as vividly as you can by concentrating on each of your senses. Then let yourself sink down slowly under the water (where you can still breathe normally). Enjoy drifting weightlessly in the pleasant coolness. Rest a while, floating, immersed in the still, silent water, until you are ready to return to the surface.

Experience tranquility in your busy day. Revitalize and refresh yourself in an ocean of peace.

To be truly creative, you have to be curious. When we're truly curious, we step away from perceiving things as we always have and allow ourselves to spot the newness that exists

Self improvement Thought.
To share virtues along with knowledge is to encourage transformation in others. When we have to give a suggestion/advise to someone we tend to share a lot of points of knowledge in order to make them understand. We try to prove logically why they have to change. Although the reasoning is right most of the time, the others don't seem to change either because they don't understand or because they don't want to understand. When we want to bring transformation in others we need to make sure to share our own virtues along with the points of knowledge. To share virtues means to give them an experience of our love, peace, good wishes etc. When they experience our virtues, they'll be willing to bring about change quickly.


Give yourself permission to relax and take it easy.

Breathe deeply, and slow down your thoughts. Take a break. Re-schedule. Ask for an extension on a due date or deadline. It's not the end of the world if one deadline is missed, especially if the deadline is self-imposed.
Lower your stress levels. Realize that there is enough time to do whatever you want in your day, your week, and your life.

Such sweet words make both you and others happy. Use this method to always sweeten everyone's mouth; constantly maintain a sweet attitude, sweet words and sweet actions.

Patience: Patience is a virtue and a power too. Patience tells us that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and that we get over there one step at a time. Patience teaches us not to rush. Knowing that there is a reason and a season for everything, it enables us to smile at the challenges, realizing that there is an answer to every problem. And, even though we cannot see it, yet there is awareness that within every crisis lies an opportunity.

Do you compare yourself to other people? Do you rank yourself better or worse than others according to your appearance, your job, your possessions, your friends, your talents and skills, your gender, or your intelligence?


Most of us focus on our imperfections. As a reaction, and to protect ourselves, we transform these feelings of inadequacy into the belief that we’re better than everyone else. In truth we are all equally valuable. Override your doubts and insecurities. Repeatedly affirm today that you are unique, there is no one like you.

To be humble is to be a source of happiness to all around. Sometimes we find that we don't mean to be negative to others but people seem to be displeased with us. When there is any kind of sorrow experienced or if others are experiencing any negative feelings, it means we are not working with our inner humility. We need to develop regard for all around us. When we work with this regard there will be humility within us. This naturally enables others to experience happiness. To the extent that even in the most negative situations others will experience happiness.

Rather than disliking someone who insults you, feel mercy and have pure and positive thoughts for them. How to handle childish mind in this critical time, Just be mother of your own mind so that you can give memorable toy for playing.
